Rodney is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University,
where he met his wife of 22 years, Gloria. Upon graduation,
Rodney went into the marketing arena by becoming an
insurance representative for Globe Life and Accident.
There he climbed quickly, setting himself apart as a
leader, promoting to an agent manager in only six short
months. He won every annual sales award while representing
Globe Life and Accident. It was during this time he
realized his love for selling and marketing.
In 1992, he started working with Dynamark Security
Centers of America as a Telemarketing Manager in their
Oklahoma City Franchise. While working for Dynamark,
his telemarketing team broke all national sales records
and he learned some significant trade secrets of being
successful on the phone.
In 1997 he was recruited by MCI Worldcom as a lead
telemarketer. He won his centers top award “Club MCI”
six times and was a runner-up another four times. Here
he put together a plan to build a company that would
start, launch and develop business ventures; while finding,
building and teaching the leadership that would one
day take over those businesses and allow him to move
on to the next opportunity.
In 1999, he teamed up with his partner, Bill West.
Together they have forged a company with over 40 years
of combined marketing experience called SalesTek; which
is dedicated to finding and developing niche markets
and then use the Internet and technology as tools to
shorten the deployment process while broadening each
markets scalability.
Currently, Rodney lives in Springfield, MO with his
wife Gloria and their daughter and four sons. |
